Reviewing the Handling Plan

  1. To review the handling plan the handling plan record must first be flagged as completed.

  2. To flag the handling plan record as completed click on the ‘Positive Handling Plan Development’ button for that handling plan record on the Patient Detail view.

  1. From the handling Plan Development view click the switch next to the ‘Is Handling Plan Completed?’ statement.

  2. Click ‘Save and exit’ at the bottom of the screen.

  1. The process button for the handling plan record will now have gone (Situation, Goals, Risks, etc.) and be replaced by two new one.

  2. One for ‘Reviews’, and another for ‘View Positive Handling Plan’.

  1. Clicking on the ‘View Positive Handling Plan’ button will take you to a view that will allow you to review the handling plans details.

  2. This allows you to refresh yourself about the decisions that were made regarding the hadling plan.

  1. In the Create New Review view you have a dropdown for the recommendation for the handling plan and a text box to enter your reasoning.

  2. The recommendation options are ‘Reassess the assessment’ or ‘Continue with the assessment and set new review date’

  3. Once completed click save.

  4. There is a completed button here for the review that should be set once it is felt the review is complete.

  5. However, it is suggested that this shouldn’t occur here but the review is left open allowing other team members to comment on the review.

  1. Once you click save you will be taken to the review detail page.

  2. From here you can edit the review by clicking the edit button.

  3. To go back to the Reviews view click the ‘Back to Reviews’ button.

  1. Once you have completed your first review of the handling plan, the Reviews view will show a list of your views showing the first one. As you create more reviews this list will expand to show all reviews.

  2. The list item for a review will show the first part of the review text, the recommendation, the status of the review (open/closed) and who created the review and when.

  3. Clicking on a review item will take you back to the detail view where you can click the edit button to edit the review including closing it.

  1. The Edit Review view looks similar to the Create New Review view with the addition of the ability to add comments.

  2. Once the Lead Assessor has created the review and added their initial recommendation and statement on the handling plan, the edit view now allows the team to discuss this in more detail and arrive at a concensus for the review.
