Join the Conversation By Adding Coments.
From any section of the handling plan record, all team members can add comments at any point in the process.
The lead assessor can add comments outlining reasons behind both additions to and changes to the handling plan record or answer questions from their colleagues.
Co-assessors can question that reasoning through the comments or add additional support to any previous points.
In each section at the bottom of the view either a team member can, if there are no previous comments, click the ‘Be the first to make a comment’, or if there are already comments click the ‘Make a comment’ button at the top of the comments list for that section.
Dependent on the section you will now see a version of the add comment dialogue at the bottom of the screen.
For the situation statement it is the simplest with just a space to add your comment text.
Once you’ve entered you comment text click the post comment button.
When you move to the goals view and add comments there, an extra option is added to the add comment dialogue.
This allows you to focus your comments on either the assessor goals or the patient goals. You can of course select neither to leave the comment as a general one on the goals.
By being able to better target your comments it becomes easier to follow lines of reasoning as you perform searches on comments when modelling the handling plan.
In the risk judgement section we can again see an extra option allowing you to target a specific ‘Risk Area’.
As we progress through the sections this ability to target comments by all team members becomes increasingly important in demonstrating balanced decision making by the team and being able to follow a line of clinical reasoning.
In the solutions section we can now see two extra options allowing you to target either a specific ‘Challenge’, ‘Solution’, ‘Challenge/Solution’ or just the solutions discussion in general.
As we progress through the sections this ability to target comments by all team members becomes increasingly important in demonstrating balanced decision making by the team and being able to follow a line of clinical reasoning.
In the Handling Plan Development view you can target the various sections from the modelling to the handling plan procedure - or just the handling plan development in general.
