1. From the ‘Patient Detail’ view go to the handling plan record you wish to edit and click on the ‘Situation’ button.

  1. This will take you into the ‘Situation’ view ready to enter your statement about the situation.

Making a Statement About the Current Situation

  1. At the top of the situation view is a title showing the patient this situation statement is for, and the specific handling task being addressed.

  2. Then we have the patient’s information (date of birth, height range, BMI range, consent and capacity status).

  3. Then a switch to flag the situation statement as being completed.

  4. ONLY activate this switch once you are sure that the statement covers all relevant details for the handling task being covered by this handling plan record and there is agreement among the team.

  1. Below this there is a text box where you can enter the data about the current situation to be addressed for this handling plan record.

  2. This should cover a number of different pieces of information.

  3. It should be considered a summary of data you currently hold with references to that data.

  4. For example, you may have documents about consent and capacity so the situation would have points relevant to the handling task being assessed and reference the pertinent documents in the patient’s records.

  5. Movementor is based on ‘A Single Source of Truth’ principle that data shouldn’t be replicated in multiple places. That the full data should be referenced and here there is a focused summary of information relevant to the current handling task assessment. It is a snapshot summary.

  6. Once you have finished you can click the Save button at any time and the situation statement will be saved for this handling plan record. You will be returned to the ‘Patient Detail’ view.

  7. Clicking the cancel button will return you to the ‘Patient Detail’ view without saving the latest changes you have made.

  8. Below these two buttons there is the ability to add comments. These are explained in the comments documentation.

  9. There is also an ‘Add Assessment Tasks’ button that allows you to add tasks to a list of things that need to be done to complete your assessment. These are discussed in more detail in the assessment tasks documentation.
